ABOUT

My role is to help you make sense of your patterns.

Our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and relationships don't happen by chance. They are shaped by our experiences, our nervous system, our attachment relationships and the remarkable ability of the brain to adapt throughout life.

Kylie, Neuroscience Practitioner
MY APPROACH

Understanding first. Change follows.

I work with what is happening now and how it came to be — the nervous system's learned responses, the attachment patterns formed in early relationships, and the beliefs built to keep you safe.

Nothing about that process asks you to relive what you aren't ready to revisit. We move at your pace, with your consent, towards understanding you can use.

WHAT GUIDES MY WORK

Four commitments

01

Compassion before judgement

Your responses made sense at the time they formed. We start there.

02

Evidence, not trend

Contemporary neuroscience, attachment theory, psychology and behavioural science.

03

Your pace, your consent

You decide what we explore and when. Safety is the condition, not the reward.

04

Understanding you can use

Insight that changes daily life, relationships and how you meet yourself.

SCOPE OF PRACTICE

What this is, and isn't

Into the Blue offers neuroscience-informed practice and education. It is not psychological, psychiatric or medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a registered health practitioner. If you are already working with a treating professional, this work can sit alongside that care.

Into the Blue was created from a simple belief: when we understand ourselves with compassion rather than judgement, healing becomes possible.
